Kanakura is registered as one of the 100 beautiful “Sato” villages in Japan. As a perfect exemple of Satoyama heritage, this walking tour allows you to learn more about the landscaping, communal life and nowadays struggles. This tour features:

- Visit to a local’s house for tea and conversation
- On the way back to Wajima, stops at the Wajima salt farm and Senmaida, the emblematic teraced rice paddies rising from the shore
