Access


Each bicycle trip start at Kayabuki-an, and finish in Wajima (except for the Lost Coast which is a loop trip)

Bus stop is Koizumi 小泉, just 2 minutes walk to Kayabukian

From Wajima

  • Pick-up from Hotel

From Wakura Onsen

  • Take the train to Anamizu (860 jpy / pax, 35 minutes), then take a taxi (approx 4000 jpy / pax, 15 minutes)

From Kanazawa station

  • Take the bus at 7:25, platform 4, West exit     (2080 jpy / pax, 130 minutes)

Wild Coast

A ride throughout country roads to join the wildest coast on the peninsula. Waterfalls, mountain and coastal traditional villages, dramatic coastal views are the rewards for riding this rugged route.

Heritage Coast

Recommended tour: A ride through beautifully preserved mountain communities (satoyama), followed by an impressive coast line with opulent cultural heritage (satoumi).

Zen coast

Including the half day Wild Coast course, this tour will first bring you to Sojiji, pilar temple of Zen Bouddism, and Kurojima, beautifully preserved coastal village with a rich historical background.

Lost Coast

A ride throughout isolated villages to join the forgotten Hosu shoreline on the peaceful Nakai bay. Enjoy the relaxing vibe of this coast where time has no impact. Recommended for a second or third ride in Noto.

Other tours

Satoyama experience in Kanakura

Kanakura is a great exemple of Satoyama and one of the 100 beautiful villages in Japan. This walking tour will introduce to sustainable life of a Satoyama and participate in some seasonal activity.

Wajima Morning tour & Sake course (currently not available)

Tour at the Wajima morning market, including the visit of a Lacquerware workshop, a sake brewery and sake tasting and pairing course

Sosogi afternoon tour (currently not available)

Half day tour to Sosogi including a hike in the mountains to a hidden temple

Monzen afternoon tour (currently not available)

Half day tour to Sojiji, one pilar of Zen Buddhism, and walk around Kurojima, harbour town with a rich heritage. Drive back through the dramatic coast line of Magaki-no-Sato
